Fringe New Play Prize: Setting Bones

1

The Fringe New Play Prize work-in-progress (Untitled) Boxes has undergone many transformations in the last few months, including a new title: Setting Bones. Show creators lee williams boudakian, Kamee Abrahamian and Anoushka Ratnarajah have been devising and writing, delving more deeply into themes of cultural memory loss and recovery, intergenerational storytelling, and queer diaspora. During one of their intensive sessions, the new title emerged as if it had been waiting for them. The creation process continues to unearth discoveries of character, plot, image and sound, all weaving together to tell the stories that wait to be told.
