Robert Hamilton

Robert is a Vancouver-based writer, originally from New Brunswick. He is a poet, a writer for film and stage, and diarist – journalling his life since 1988. He was employed in the prison system for many years, and currently works with the disenfranchised in the downtown south. He is a past participant in the Block A and M programs at PTC; a past Writer Resident at the Canadian Film Centre, and past Fellow with Praxis. His ten-minute play Boyfish was part of the 2018 Newmarket National Ten-Minute Play Festival. Robert is excited to be part of WrightSpace and looking forward to developing his script, Our Story: Coming out in the time of HIV and AIDS.
